"Damn you, Google!"
Don't get me wrong, I love Google. Without it, I probably couldn't do this blog seeing as Blogger is now part of Google. No, my issue is that if you Google "Painting Thousand Sons," my blog does not come up. I must be doing something wrong. I think I found a site that explains how to fix this, but it involves coding of the blog. This is a little too advanced for me. I'm fairly computer literate when it comes to Litigation Software, but beyond that, I'm a little slow. I figured I could post a blog entry where I just write "Painting Thousand Sons" one thousand times to see if that makes a difference.
Anyway, there are a few cool links that I would like to share with you.
First off, this is the website for a really cool group of guys that I've mentioned before, the Chicago Untouchables. In fact, Jesse's Grey Knights really inspired me when I played him at Adepticon (more on this later).
During my vain self-Google session, I found this cool tactica article for Thousand Sons. I'm not the best tactician, so I thought it was pretty helpful.
My friend, Aaron is working on this great Warhammer conversion for a Nurgle demonic steed (Boo! Nurgle!). He's chronicling his work in this article. He told me it is a "living article" or something like that, so check back for updates.
On the Painting front, I've finished a second test miniature in a different style from my first one. Again, my apologies for lack of pictures. I tried to go with more extreme highlights. As I mentioned before, Jesse from the Untouchables was inspiration. I really liked how his Grey Knights stood out on the game board. I've found that some of my miniatures look good close up, but when they're on the board, they just don't look that remarkable. So just look at these grey knights and imagine that they're Thousand Sons and you'll get the idea of what I'm going for.
